Cycle notifications help you stay on top of what matters—without ping overload.
Whether you’re working through feedback, updating a request, or collaborating on a feature, Cycle ensures you’re looped in when something relevant happens.
There are two main types of notifications in Cycle:
You’ll receive these when you’re directly involved in product work. For example:
You’re @mentioned in a doc.
You’re marked as an assignee or reporter to a Feedback, Quote or Request.
Someone comments on a doc you’re following.
These notifications show up:
🔔 In the Cycle app
📩 Via email (optional - integration setup needed)
💬 In Slack (optional - integration setup needed)
You can fine-tune your preferences in your Account Settings → Notifications.
These are status-driven notifications designed to update stakeholders when progress happens on feedback or related docs.
They’re triggered automatically when a Request moves through different statuses like for example:
From “Not Started” → “Started”
From “Started” → “Completed”
From “Completed” → “Canceled”
🔁 When a Request's status updates:
All linked Quotes will have the new status
Related Feedback reporters are notified
Updates can be sent via integrations like Slack, Email or Intercom, depending on workspace setup
This helps product teams share progress without manual follow-ups.
You can adjust when and how you get notified:
Go to Account Settings to manage email and in-app alerts
Customize what triggers notifications and where they’re delivered
Prefer fewer pings? Just tune your preferences to match your focus.
Notifications in Cycle are built for high-signal, low-noise collaboration—helping your team move fast, keep aligned, and close the loop effortlessly.
