When the Cycle team handles your customer sync integration, getting started is as simple as two steps:

Plugin Re-installation
  • Remove the old plugin:

    • Go to Workspace settings (or press g then s)

    • Select Integrations

    • Find your CRM integration and click Uninstall.

  • Re-add the plugin by following the Quick Start steps below.

If your integration was set up before May 1, 2025, reinstall the CRM integration in Cycle to ensure proper permissions. Do this by first removing the plugin and then following the steps to set it up again.

1. Setup CRM integration

Important: The instructions provided in step 1 ("Setup CRM integration") specifically apply to native integrations with Salesforce or HubSpot.

If you're using another CRM (e.g., Attio) or leveraging a data lake solution (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake), please reach out directly to your Cycle contact via Slack for tailored assistance with your integration.

  1. Go to “Workspace settings” (or type "g" then "s")

  2. Select Integrations from the Settings menu.

  3. Click Add integration, choose Salesforce or HubSpot, and follow the on-screen prompts.

You can skip any feedback related steps if you only need the customer data sync.

2. Post-Setup: Information We Need from You

Once the integration is active, please let us know:

  • Fields to Import Which columns (e.g. Account Name, Close Date, Custom Field XYZ) you want synced.

  • Data Filters Any criteria (e.g. only “Closed Won” opportunities, or contacts created after Jan 1, 2024).

After you provide these details, we’ll deliver the first historical import for your review. You can then:

  • Verify that all fields and records look correct

  • Adjust filters or import mappings if necessary

Once approved, we setup up your continuous customer sync and you can enjoy the freshly synced customer data!
