Customer-centric from day one
In Cycle, customers aren’t just metadata—they’re a living thread that connects your feedback, insights, and features back to the real people and companies behind them.
When you extract a quote from feedback, Cycle automatically links the right customer. That means every bit of input they share—via Intercom, Slack, email, or anywhere else—is tied back to their profile.
Whether it’s a person or a company, every customer has a dedicated profile in Cycle.
Each profile shows everything you’ve heard from that customer—all in one place:
Feedback, quotes, and requests across all sources
Status filters to quickly surface open vs closed items
One-click summaries to help you turn conversations into action
Think of it as a CRM, but purpose-built for product teams.
Cycle auto-fetches and links the right customer the moment you capture feedback—no extra tagging required.
To make this work, the customer just needs to already exist in your workspace. You can always edit or update them later.
📌 Bonus: Cycle auto-generates a helpful title like
“Feedback from Acme Inc. via Intercom – May 5”
so you can easily scan and search feedback later.
Not all CRMs are tidy—we get it. That’s why Cycle auto-cleans your customer data behind the scenes:
Links unknown email addresses to the right company using the domain (e.g. @company.com)
Generates a default customer name from the email when needed
Keeps everything accurate and findable
Every quote you extract from feedback automatically inherits the original customer. That means when you later connect a quote to a request, you’ll know exactly who said what.
This connection stays visible wherever you work—from Cycle to Intercom and HubSpot—so teammates can instantly see which customers are behind which feature requests.
Need to find everything a particular customer said?
Hit ⌘ + K to open the command panel
Type a name or company
Jump straight to their profile or search results
It’s the fastest way to reconnect with their voice.
Cycle handles customer identity with care, but here’s what to keep in mind:
One customer = one email address in Cycle
If someone gives feedback from two different emails, they’ll appear as two customers
You can merge manually or update their info to unify them
People and companies are treated separately—if someone changes jobs, just update their company (they’ll keep their full feedback history).
By default, Cycle only shows customers who’ve given feedback—but if you sync your CRM, you can expand that view.
👉 Note: We don’t go into sync setup here.
Customer profiles aren’t just for show. They help you:
Understand who’s asking for what
Prioritize based on actual voices, not vague personas
Keep your team aligned across tools
You’ll never lose track of the people behind the feedback—and that’s how you build better products.
