Capturing feedback from everywhere is only the first step. The real magic? Turning that pile of raw input into clear, actionable next steps for your team—without losing context, speed, or customer trust.
That’s where Cycle’s AI-powered processing kicks in.
Every new piece of feedback—whether from Slack, support tickets, calls, emails, or Chrome extension—lands in your Cycle Inbox. Scroll down to read what happens next!
Most feedback covers more than one thing.
Example:
“The export button is slow, and I wish the UI was simpler.”
Cycle’s processing breaks this into Quotes:
Quotes are atomic, actionable pieces pulled from feedback.
Each feedback might yield several Quotes—one for each unique Request
Every Quote in Cycle is linked to a Request.
What’s a Request?
A Request is the core unit of product work in Cycle.
A Request can be a Bug, Feature, Need, Project, Kudo, or any type your team defines.
Think of Requests as the actionable “to-dos” your team tracks, discusses, and ships.
Example:
The Quote “export button is slow” links to the Bug: Export button performance
The Quote “wish the UI was simpler” links to the Feature : Simplified UI
Autopilot reads every new feedback in your Inbox. It extracts the key Quotes and links each one to the right Request—no manual sorting required. If a matching Request doesn’t exist, Autopilot can even suggest creating a new one (based on your already created Requests).
You always get the chance to:
Validate or discard each Quote—with a single click.
Edit, reassign, or merge Quotes and Requests if Autopilot missed a nuance.
But that’s not all—Autopilot also leverages Cycle's Product Areas.
Product Areas are ideal for teams working across multiple squads, product lines, or focus areas.
Not everyone needs to see every piece of feedback.
Product Areas let you automatically triage and route feedback to the right inboxes, so each team sees only what matters to them.
Cycle Autopilot analyzes each quote and assigns it to the right Product Area, so your teams are always focused on what’s relevant.
Prefer a more hands-on approach, or want to fine-tune AI output?
Manual: Highlight any text and create a Quote yourself. Assign it wherever it belongs.
Hybrid: Use AI to save time by extracting quotes in advance, but jump in to adjust and link them as you see fit.
Cycle is built to handle both fast AI-powered triage and deep manual processing—whichever fits your team today.
Tip: Treat it like Tesla Autopilot—start with lane assist before full self-drive.
When all Quotes from a feedback are validated and linked, mark the feedback as Processed.
This keeps your Inbox focused on new, unprocessed items.
No more missing feedback, dropped context, or “did we ever handle this?” moments.
Bulk actions: Review, validate, or assign multiple Quotes at once.
Custom properties: Tag by Urgency, Timeline, Persona—whatever matters to your workflow.
Instant visibility: Every Quote remains linked to the original feedback and customer—so you always know “who said what, and why.”
When your feedback is processed and Quotes are linked to real product work, you’re ready to analyze patterns, prioritize features, and communicate progress back to your customers.
