Jira / Jira Product Discovery
To set up the Cycle integration with your Jira or Jira Product Discovery workspace, follow these steps:
Step 1: Get Your Jira API Token
Go to Atlassian API Tokens
Click Create API token
Label it:
Cycle IntegrationCopy the token immediately – you won’t be able to see it again later.
Step 2: Set Up a Webhook in Jira
In your Jira instance, go to:
Settings→System→WebhooksClick Create a webhook
Fill in the following:
Name:
Cycle IntegrationStatus: Enabled
URL:
https://api.gear.cycle.app/jira_integration/cycleIssue related events: Check "updated"
Projects: Leave blank to apply to all projects (or specify as needed)

Step 3: Create a Webhook in Cycle
Go to Settings → API
Click Create webhook
Fill out the fields:
Label:
JiraorJPDURL:
https://api.gear.cycle.app/jira_integration/cyclTrigger:
Value changed

Step 4: Add a “Cycle URL” Custom Field in Jira
Go to
Settings→Work items→Custom fieldsClick Add custom field → Choose URL Field
Configure it as:
Name:
Cycle URLDescription:
Link to associated Cycle work item
Add this custom field to your Default Screen or any screen used for editing work items
Step 5: Share Your Setup Details with Cycle
To complete the integration on our side, please send us the following:
Your Jira email address
The API token you created in Step 1
Your Jira workspace URL (e.g.,
https://yourcompany.atlassian.net)
