The Cycle-HubSpot integration enhances communication and feedback management between your support, sales, and product teams. It solves the following problems:

  • Provides a way for support teams to send context-rich feedback directly to the product team.

  • Builds trust and smoothens communication between support and product teams.

  • Automatically updates the support team on the status of features and bugs, closing the feedback loop with users.

How it works

The integration consists of two parts: Feedback Collection and Customer Sync.

Feedback collection

This feature enables support and sales teams to send feedback straight to Cycle from HubSpot.

Create feedback directly in HubSpot from a company, contact, or deal—whichever works best for your workflow. Feedback will be automatically mapped to the corresponding customer in Cycle.

Feedback will be mapped to the customer where you are creating the feedback by default and will assign you as the reporter. The created feedback can be found in ay "Inbox" view.

You can insert content templates to structure and format the feedback. Custom properties set up for the "Feedback" doc type will also appear in Cycle.

Customer synchronisation

Customer sync ensures that your contacts and companies from HubSpot are kept up-to-date in Cycle.

When installing HubSpot, contacts and their companies can be imported into your workspace. HubSpot contacts and Cycle customers will merge based on their email addresses to avoid duplicates.

When a company is synced with HubSpot, an icon will appear next to any company in Cycle that is also a company in HubSpot.

At the contact level, you'll also see the icon, and by clicking on it, you'll be redirected to the corresponding HubSpot contact.

Installation

Follow these steps or click the interactive demo below 👇

  1. Go to your "workspace settings" ("g" then "s" for keyboard shortcut lovers).

  2. Add HubSpot Integration by clicking on In the "source" button on the right and select HubSpot.

  3. Log in to your HubSpot and select the account you want to sync. Then click "Connect app."

You can create feedback from a company, contact, or deal; up to you. 🙌

  • The feedback will automatically be mapped to the corresponding customer in Cycle.

  • By default, it will be assigned to yourself, so you'll find it in the "My Inbox" view of the feedback Inbox.

View feedback in HubSpot

Every feeback from a customer will appear in the right sidebar of the related HubSpot contact, company or deal. This happens regardless of the feedback source.

If a customer submitted feedback by another mean, it will still show up as well in HubSpot.

This way, sales & support teams can update users on the status of their requests by having a clear view of the product roadmap.

FAQ

My HubSpot contacts are not showing up in Cycle

Depending on the number of HubSpot contacts you have, the import can take some time. Try refreshing your page in a couple of minutes.

Can I customize the input fields of the feedback sent from HubSpot?

Yes. To do so, go to your settings > properties and create the properties you need. Don't forget to link these to the "Feedback" doctype.
